Partners in Harmony
CMC collaborated with a variety of partners to produce music day-camps for teens in outer East Portland. Read more about it in our blog post and listen to some of the student-produced music that was generated from the collaboration.

Put our spring celebration event on your calendar
We are commemorating 70 years of music education at Portland Parks & Recreation's Community Music Center with a special benefit concert in CMC's auditorium on Saturday afternoon, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
The program will also celebrate our wonderful performing artist-instructors, especially those who have taught at CMC for 25 to 30 years, including Hong Chou, Tracey Edson, Andrew Ehrlich, Zita Jefferson, and Cynthia Scott.
